CEORL-HNS Supports Global ENT Education Through the 2026 Outreach Travel Grant
The Confederation of European ORL-HNS awarded Dr Denis R. Katundu the CEORL-HNS Global Outreach Travel Grant 2026.
The CEORL-HNS Global Outreach Travel Grant is awarded every second year to support young ENT specialists from countries identified as being in need of further ENT training opportunities. For the 2026 edition, Tanzania was selected as the invited country.
The grant included attendance at the 8th Congress of European ORL-HNS, held in Gothenburg from 25 to 29 April 2026, as well as a two-week observership at the Department of Oto-Rhino-Laryngology, Uppsala University Hospital, Sweden, under the supervision of Dr Adnan Lidian and Dr Linda Marklund.
Through the Global Outreach Initiative, the Confederation continues its commitment to supporting education, international collaboration, and professional development in otorhinolaryngology worldwide. The programme aims to strengthen global connections and provide valuable educational opportunities for colleagues from underserved regions.
