Preparations are moving forward for the 8th Congress of European ORL-HNS, which will take place from April 25–29, 2026 in Gothenburg, Sweden. This major gathering will combine the latest news in science with opportunities to connect, collaborate, and enjoy the unique charm of Sweden’s second-largest city.

Gothenburg: A Welcoming Host

Situated on the country’s western coast, Gothenburg is famous for its beautiful surroundings, accessible location, and warm, humorous spirit—so much so that “Gothenburg jokes” have become part of Swedish culture. The city is easily reached by international flights, trains, and ferries, ensuring smooth travel for delegates.
The venue, the Swedish Exhibition & Congress Centre and Gothia Towers, is located in the city center and includes a headquarter hotel directly connected to the congress facilities. Restaurants, attractions, and the waterfront are all within walking distance, making Gothenburg a perfect host.

A Robust and Innovative Scientific Program

The congress will feature an outstanding scientific program, built in collaboration with subspecialty and national societies. This spring, proposals for Round Tables, Instructional Courses, and Keynote Lectures were reviewed by the Scientific Chairs and Scientific Core Committee. Invitations have now gone out to around 850 speakers, who will participate in 126 round tables, 110 keynote lectures, and 112 instructional courses. Moderators are currently being contacted to coordinate content.
After the great success in the last two meetings Mentor Sessions will be an integral part of this year’s congress again. At the Mentor Sessions young delegates can connect with experienced leaders, exchange ideas, and gain career-shaping insights.
Meanwhile, abstract submission is open until October 15, 2025, for oral and poster presentations. Details are available here: Abstract Submission.

Before the main congress program kicks off, several pre-congress courses on various topics will be offered. Don’t miss the opportunity to take part in these practical and inspiring sessions.

Industry and Innovation

As in past editions, CEORL-HNS 2026 will feature strong participation from the industry. Leading companies have already confirmed their presence and will showcase their latest innovations in the exhibition area, offering delegates the chance to explore new technologies and solutions in the ENT field.

Networking Program

Beyond science, the Local Organizing Committee is preparing a networking program that highlights Gothenburg’s local flavor. From the Opening Ceremony to the lively Congress Evening, delegates will enjoy opportunities to network, relax, and celebrate together.

With its combination of scientific excellence, industry innovation, and cultural experiences, the 8th Congress of European ORL-HNS promises to be an unforgettable event.
