Multidisciplinary discussion on malignant skull base tumours. Live Virtual Format
The role of a multidisciplinary team approach in the management of malignant tumours of the skull base is paramount. The large majority of these lesions are diagnosed at an advanced stage, so that only in rare instances their treatment can include a single modality. The presence of different histologies with variable biological profile and behaviour is another element which in recent years has led to develop the concept of histology-driven treatment and reinforce the need for a multidisciplinary approach to malignant tumours involving the skull base.
The present seminar will provide the audience with a live discussion on cases of malignant tumours of the skull base, with the participation of a group of experts in different disciplines who are pivotal to assess the critical patterns of growth of the disease in a complex anatomic area and identify the optimal therapeutic strategy. The audience will have the possibility to interact with the panellists.
