Multidisciplinary Salivary Gland Society

Dear colleagues, the Multidisciplinary Salivary Gland Society, MSGS, a CEORL-HNS subsociety, warmly invites you to Dublin for the upcoming CEORL-HNS meeting June 15-19 2024. In Dublin, there is a strong MSGS coordinated Salivary Gland Program, covering the entire multidisciplinary approach to this interesting and challenging area. Recently, there has been a tremendous evolution in the diagnosis and treatment of both benign and malignant salivary gland diseases. MSGS in close cooperation with CEORL-HNS has gathered a comprehensive program featuring top-experts, not only from the ORL-HNS group, but also from OMFS, PRS, Radiation and Medical Oncology, Radiology, Pathology and Rheumatology, that will bring a range from video-sessions on basic surgical techniques, through round tables with animated discussions, to keynote lectures by giants in the field.
Among others, some highlights of the program are the Keynote lecture by Prof. Ehab Hanna, vice chair and world-reknown ORL head and neck surgeon at MD Anderson, Houston, Texas, on the current state of the art surgical techniques in parotidectomy. For the young surgeons a basic surgical video session prepared and commented by giants in the field such as Johan Fagan, Cape Town, South-Africa, Arjen Vissink, Groningen, the Netherlands, and Pavel Dulguerov, Meyrin, Switzerland The new ESMO guidelines for salivary cancer came out last year! These will be illustrated by experts in the field by means of a kickstart to using these in your daily practice. And for those interested in sialendoscopy, and expert panel with the pioneers will provide the essential details to refine their technique!
